One Dozen Eggs - Grade A - Soy Free - Corn Free - Non-GMO
Our laying hens (Egg Ladies) live in a mobile coop that is moved around the pasture every few days. During the day, the Egg Ladies free range in the grass and hunt for bugs. The bottom of the portable housing has a hardware cloth bottom, which allows waste to drop out, keeping it clean. Frequent moves and access to fresh pasture keeps the Egg Ladies clean and healthy.
A hen's laying production is dependent upon the number of daylight hours. Therefore, there is an abundance in the longer days (spring/summer) and a decline as we enter the winter months.
Mother Earth News did a study that found "that compared to conventional eggs, real free-range eggs have less cholesterol and saturated fat, plus more vitamin A and E, beta carotene and polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids." https://www.motherearthnews.com/real-food/free-range-eggs-zmaz07onzgoe
Our eggs are also available for purchase at Cordell's (6410 Buffalo Gap Rd Suite B, Abilene).
